I am not looking forward to Kyle's "re-entry" meeting this morning. Once I have got Tyler off to school and my mum turns up to sit for Bailey and Brooke I will be heading off up the school with Kyle. The meeting is with the Head although it is normally with the childs teacher but he is not available. We will see how it goes....
Bailey is totally covered in spots now! I guess that as he is 5, older than all the others to get it, that it has come out worse. They do say the older you are the worse you get it, which seems to be true in this case. Poor thing, I gave him calpol and plenty of fluids but yesterday he seemed to just want to lie on the sofa and want to watch tv all day, very lathargic and not at all the lively child he usually is. He came over to me yesterday morning and said "chicken pox mum" pointing to his spots....I guess thats another two words to add to his vocabulary. Its hard not being able to explain to him that he will get better ect, and to try not to scratch them. Its times like this that I find his autism frustrating for the both of us, although being able to say it is a breakthrough, 18 months ago he could only say one word!
